If the phone has a Wi-Fi connection you can’t use the personal hotspot on the phone, because the personal hotspot uses the Wi-Fi circuit in the phone and it is already being used by the phone. However, if your phone already has a Wi-Fi connection your computer should be able to use that same Wi-Fi connection directly with the router, having nothing to do with the phone.
but this will use my mobile data not the wi-fi connection on the iPhone, am I right?!
Correct. But if your iPhone has a Wi-Fi connection why can’t your computer use the same Wi-Fi connection?
I don't know am asking :), if the iPhone has a wi-fi connection the PC wont use the mobile data ?
so it does not work, because my pc does not have a wi-fi adapter that's way I'm trying to use my iPhone as one by USB connectivity .
is there any other way ?
You can get a Wi-Fi dongle for your computer for about $10.
:) the easy way thanks, just checking if there is on the iPhone; other phones you can easily, just plug and USB tether "ON" that's it.
