Unable to upgrade to Catalina from Mojave.redirects to BigSur!

I am using a 2017 iMac & wish to upgrade to Catalina (not Big Sur) .However the system is redirecting me to upgrade to Big Sur.I found a link to download Catalina Update but the download gets broken & stops.it says An error occurred while installing the selected updates. Any workarounds?

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 10.14
