Youtube video in iMovie

Is there a simple way to import a youtube video into iMovie?

You could use the QuickTimePlayer app to make a New Screen Recording of the You Tube video as you play it. Or, you could do the same thing by doing Command-Shift-5 and using the controls that appear on the bottom of your screen to do a screen recording of the You Tube video. However, there may be copyright issues involved. It is not allowed to copy media that is protected by Copyright. I believe that some content on You Tube has a download feature that is put there by the creator of the media. It least it used to be that way.
