Older Macs with Flash Support Ending?

What will happen, if anything, to older Intel Macs stuck at Mac OS10 with Safari12 when Flash is removed from the system? Will anything fail to open or run afterwards in Safari? Thanks in advance.

Can't open Safari because its being updated Had recent OS update on MAC and Safari will not open. All attempts to open generate the following message: " Can't open Safari because it's being updated". Restarted MAC, with no change, and last OS update in April 2019 shows complete. MAC is from 2009 and runs MAC High Sierra. Any ideas on how to resolve? Thanks!

OS X 10.15.7 - Safari corrupt - Software Update will not update Mac Mini Late 2014. Upgraded from OS X 10.13 to OS 10.15.7. Older parents so I did not want them to deal with all the new stuff in OS 11. So after the update I checked SU and Safari 15 needed to install. Started that and I noticed that it was taking a very long time to install. The Mac then crashed and rebooted. Safari in the Applications folder as you can see in the screen shot is completely broken. Does not launch. Software Update will list two other updates but not Safari, or other times Software Update just spins forever "Checking for updates...". How to remove the corrupted Safari and get Software Update to re-download it? Thanks! PS: On the hardware selection for this post, Apple please fix and add older Mac Minis. The only choice was a Mac Mini 2018. [Image Edited by Moderator to Remove Serial Number]

Adobe is ending Flash worldwide on all devices (e.g., including Windows). Most sites quite using Flash long ago. I haven't found anyplace that I needed it for at least the last 2 years. Also see: https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/end-of-life.html
