I have an Android phone and an iPad. On two-factor authorization issues, apple sends a code to my "devices." I need it to send the code to the phone number associated with the account. How do I make it do that?

See the "Trusted phone numbers" section, the "Manage your trusted phone numbers" section and the "What if I can't access a trusted device or didn't receive a verification code?" section in Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support
