Free Apple TV subscription not available on new M1 MacBook Pro

Hello,

I bought the new M1 MacBook Pro, and when I opened the Apple TV app, it doesn't give me the option for free 1 year Apple TV subscription.

All I get is a 7 day free trial.

I have never been an Apple TV subscriber before.

Any idea why this is happening?

Make sure to sign in to the TV app first (menu Account), before looking for the year offer.

If you qualify, and if you did as described in the guide, and you still do not get to see the year offer, then contact Apple Support. They can assist in getting you the service, if needed using activation codes.
