No battery option in Dock & Menu bar

I go to system Preferences / dock & menu bar / other modules and there is no battery icon just Accessibility short cuts and fast user switching. All doc say a battery option should be there so you can add battery to menu bar.

You might want to look a little harder:

Note: If you're actually using a Mac mini, as your tag suggests, you don't have a battery operated Mac.

I have this exact same issue - and my dock and menu bar looks the same as the screenshot above. I am running a 2019 27" iMac - not a mac Mini - and there is definitely NO battery icon after updating to Big Sur. I have a 2015 MacBook Pro which I also upgraded to Big Sur and the battery is in the dock. So it's on one Mac but not the other... Any ideas?
