Macbook air won't charge

My macbook air says that power source is connected but not charging, and there is not charger connected. When I do connect the charger it will not charge. I left it turn off plugged in, and it did charge it... any recommendations outside what's on the website (restart, control+shift+option+power)?

battery not charging hello, everyone. every time I plug in my MacBook Air to charge, it says it connected to my power adapter, but "the battery is not charging." what the heck does that mean? also, my Macbook air takes forever to charge even when I don't have many applications open. Does anyone know why it says my battery isn't charging?
