AppleID
When I added to ApplePay my Bank Card, the default action was to add the card to ApplePay Cash, Not ApplePay as it was presented in the Add a Payment Method statement. I didn’t know that, I just trusted Apple to complete the function as started, “Add your bank card to ApplePay.” The ApplePay Cash was never mentioned and I have never heard of it before.
So, my bank card was added as an
- ApplePay Cash,
- ApplePay itself, Nit ApplePay Cash, was not added as a payment method to anything that is AppleID
- When I attempted to Add My ApplePay, and/or my bank card that is already in the Wallet App, the system failed to retrieve the card
- Despite of the failure, I added the card manually as a payment method, AppleID failed and still fails to show the bank card as a payment method
- All technical aspects have been verified of the bank card to be supported by the issuing bank for ApplePay services, and the country of service
- Apple Support person over the phone was impatient and told me he is busy answering other requests and he did not have time to answer my inquiry
- Apple Support App failed to maintain connection during two sessions of support regarding this issue
- The Support Website is failing to connect to full services due to Covid19
