Problem with Apple Watch reconnecting to iPhone 12 Pro

I’m having trouble with my Apple Watch reconnecting with my iPhone. I did not have the problem with my iPhone X and Apple Watch 4. The iPhone X worked well with the new Apple Watch.  When a bought the iPhone 12 Pro, it does not work well with the Apple Watch 6.  I reset the Apple Watch as a back and then as new setup, but this didn’t work. The Apple Watch 6 does not receive notifications.  The Bluetooth shows both devices connected.

Most of the times, I don’t get a notification on my Apple Watch when I receive a call. This makes the Apple Watch useless, I cannot see who is calling when I’m in meetings.

What can I do to fix this problem?
