Cannot Install macOS Mojave

I have followed advise from other posts and deleted the previously downloaded Installer, emptied trash, and dowloaded again and continue to get the same error. "This copy of the install macos mojave application is damaged and can‘t be used to install macos."

MacBook Pro won't install Mojave My latest version is the Sierra 10.12.6 and overtime I have tried to install a newer version. Every time it pops up an error "This copy of the Install MacOS Mojave application is damaged, and can't be used to install macOS". Ive downloaded InstallOS.dmg...reading things off google I was told that could be a problem but even with the download I am unable to install anything...after Ive restarted my computer. I don't know where to go from here. HELP! Please.

Apparently I was missing some Security updates and it appears that after installing all updates the Installer worked correctly.

Restart in Safe Mode(press Shift), and if possible, use a wired Internet connection.
