iMovie Glitch

I've been having a problem recently where every time I exported a video, the file had an error. I have tried to solve the problem but the end result is still the same. iMovie is deleting minutes off my file - during the export stage- without me knowing, no matter what I did. I have not had this problem ever.

Hi, markel256,

Try deleting preferences, as often that will cure export problems. It is a safe procedure. To delete preferences, open iMovie

while holding down the Option and Command keys and select to delete preferences in the box that appears. iMovie will open in a new library. Reopen your old library to get back to your projects.

Check to make sure that you have sufficient free space on your internal drive and on your destination drive if you are sending the movie to an external drive.

Also, try exporting from a newly created project and see if that cures it.
