Mac OS question


Hi I have MacBook Air m1 2020 with Mac OS Big Sur , but I need to change Big Sur to Catalina ? Is it possible ?

Since your Mac came pre installed with Big Sur, you won’t be able to downgrade to Catalina.


More importantly, the M1 I don’t think would be enabled to run anything below Mac OS Big Sur, and this itself would be a killer to any reason which you may give as to why you’d want to downgrade from Big Sur to the now older, Catalina.
