Why doesn’t Apple use the schedule text feature? It doesn’t seem to be overly complex to simply send scheduled texts, email has done it for years and android can do it. Would allow me to be over 10x more productive. Does anyone have a solution that doesn’t cost me $5 a month fir the scheduled app.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner. Pick the closest topic you can find.
