Most Bluetooth devices have something else you have to do to get it in pairing mode. You need it to be in pairing mode in order to connect to a new device.
If you have the instruction manuals for these devices, they will tell you how to do this. If you don't it's probably a quick google search. Each device will have its own way to do this.
