Hi,
i was wondering why my brand new iphone 11 came without headphones or a charging plug? i know this a new thing with the iphone 12 but not the 11.... especially because my friend who also got an iphone 11 today received both of these items in her box?
if anyone could explain it would be much appreciated.

Apple stopped including them with all currently sold iPhones, not just the iPhone 12. Currently sold iPhone 11s no longer include those accessories.
Older stock, from before the switch will still have them.
