Can no longer attach files in Gmail using Safari

I also lost capability to attach files to gmail messages while in Safari. It seemed to happen after I powered off and an update occurred. It works fine in Chrome. Would prefer to use Safari but don't know how to fix.

You might want to provide some technical info here.


For example:

  1. Mac OS version
  2. Safari version


I assume you are using Gmail web client since you are talking about not being able to attach files in Safari.

You could try removing cookies and stored data for gmail by fallowing the fourth point in this support topic:
