I have a late 2010 MacBook air 4gb ram running Mojave that runs great!
what speeds up or keep the MacBook drive in 2020 is to keep the ssd drive free as possible,
always keeping used programs closed and avoiding heavy video usage.
i did purchase a 265GB ssd drive that used up the MacBook air this year.
the manufacture claimed that will faster, and i think so.
These are great laptops that can still operate in 2020 as good as the newer ones.
