Import photos from iPhone to Mac by date?

I have about two thousand photos on my iPhone from December 31, 2019 all the way back to February 21st 2017. I want to import only those photos.

When I plug in my iPhone to my Mac, the import screen only shows all items and the option to only select them one by one or in groups. I don't know the dates of the photos just looking at them.

So how do I only import my photos from Feb. 21, 2017 to Dec. 31, 2020?

Thank you!

I can't think of any shortcut. You'll have to look on your phone and remember which photos you took on each of those dates, find and click on the photo at one end inside the import list, then scroll to the other end, and shift-click on the photo at the extreme other end. That will leave the ones you want selected and ready to import.
