Is this “Other” storage on an iDevice (iPhone, iPad, whatever), or a Mac?
What Operating System (OS) is your machine running?
As general information, on all the above, the “Other” storage category is a category for anything and everything that doesn’t fit any of the other Named storage categories.
It can consist of Logs, Caches, ZIP or other archive files, backup snapshots (on Macs), and any of a number of other “stuff” ‘n such.
