Do we need to use the same ICloud account or can each family member use their own ID

For Apple Music (family plan)

does each member have to utilize the same iCloud account and ID account or can each member use their own account to utilize the Apple music (family plan)?

Do not share AppleIDs! AppleIDs are each persons unique personal login to their online accounts with Apple. If you share AppleIDs, you share ALL data with all Apple accounts (all iCloud emails, all iCloud notes, all contacts, all passwords, all messages, etc, etc). Not to mention that anyone can also change the AppleID password without telling anyone else they’ve done so.

Everyone should have their own AppleID. Use family sharing to share purchases or shareable Apple services, or iCloud storage.
