macOS Big Sur not downloading

Hi, I tried to download the Big Sur and it did but not properly. What I mean is this -

And this has been there for a long time now, if someone knows how to fix this issue, please let me know.

MacOS Big Sur refuses to download Hello, I am currently facing this issue. I have a MacBook Pro (currently running macOS Sierra) which I wish to upgrade to MacOS Big Sur. I hence entered the App Store and clicked the download button to download Big Sur. Unfortunately, the app refuses to download and no matter what I try, the download button remains "pressed" but doesn't actually begin downloading anything. I have restarted my Mac several times, logged out and logged into my Apple ID on the App Store and tried many of the other basic fixes. My Mac has over 400GB of free space and has a stable internet connection (and is compatible with the newest update). I am unsure how to download it though... Any help would be appreciated...

Big Sur 11.2.3 Is anyone having problems downloading Big Sur 11.2.3? It refuses to download to my iMac. I have tried umpteen times. I have restarted, turned off, unplugged, checked my internet connection, restarted router, and still nothing. I keep on getting the same message about an error occuring. It tells me to check the internet connection. This is so frustrating.

According to Apple’s status page, macOS Software Update was unavailable for some users today. The issue has been resolved as of 5:15 PM Pacific Time.
