An error occurred while installing the selected updates.

I'm trying to install Mac OS Big Sur, but when I do a prompt saying "An error occurred while installing the selected updates"shows, does anyone else has this problem? Or if not what should I do?

It is widespread. Wait awhile. There is a known issue: https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/
