Big sur

Why when I click on the install update button, Big sur gives me the message "an error Occurred during the update" No error codes or other information. I have A MacBook Pro 2020 and the update should install.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

so how long? I have checked the status and said it was already resolved but 3 days later, i still cannot update my mac to big sur. when are you guys going to fix this?
