Iphone11 or 12 purchased in Germany can be used in Japan?
I am thinking of purchasing new Iphone but I may have to go back to Japan from next April but I nee the phone. I learned that Iphones have models in each region and bandwitdth which the phone can use differ from country to country ... In this case, if I purchased Iphone11 or Iphone 12 in Germany, will I have issue when I use it in Japan?

All iPhones will work worldwide on GSM (3G). However, different model phones have slight differences in LTE (and, for the 12, 5G) bands in different areas. So here is your homework assignment:
Pick your phone from this list: iPhone - Supported 5G and LTE networks - Apple
then compare the bands supported on each model with:
