Anyone else having this problem? I am using the new iPhone 12 Pro. It’s just frozen, showing ‘preparing update’. Same goes for my iPad. Weird.
I found the solution. Someone posted it somewhere else. Log out of your iCloud. Then do the update and agree and it worked. Then I just signed back on.

mine iPad Pro gets stuck once I click agree to terms. and it won't do anything after that. I can run other apps and stuff but it doesn't go past that when I try to update it. I've force closed it. restarted it.
I am having the same issue, after spending 2 hours with apple support my options are to return my phone. Nothing worked to push the update through. OTA nor itunes work.
