Decimals refuse to change (iOS Numbers)

I tried to change the number of decimals in a cell but after I set 2 nothing happens. There are a formula-calculated number in the cell + text before the number. Thanks for any help!

Hi Barnabas,

When you insert text anywhere in a cell, the whole cell becomes text and does not respond as a number.

The formula needs the ROUND function before adding the text.

Try this:

Formula in D2 =A2&" "&ROUND(B2÷C2,2)

Tested on a Mac, but this will work in iOS

Is this something similar to what you are trying to do?

Regards,

Ian.
