MacBook Pro won't turn on

I can't restart it and it won't respond to the power source. Last night I got it to turn on and the battery said it is "not charging" and the power source is coming from the power adapter. Is there a way to fix this issue or should i bring it in?

Try an SMC Reset.

Try unplugging the charger from the electrical outlet for a minute to reset the internal circuitry of the charger. Also try using another electrical outlet preferably on another circuit.

You don't mention which model Mac you have. If you have a USB-C Mac, then try using another USB-C port especially on the other side of the laptop if you have the four ports.
