catalina hp printer update

So I have updated Catalina with the latest update designed to fix the HP printer problem that the previous update created but still cannot connect to our printers from catalina OS, luckily we have some machines still on older OS so cany only print from them. Any ideas as to what else one needs to do in addition to updating the OS
