I have two vertical lines on my iPhone X and the bottom part of the screen is not working. So, I cannot unlock the screen to back up my phone.
Is there a way around this?

You cannot create a backup when you cannot unlock your iPhone or the screen is not working. The backup had to have been done prior to the issue. Do you have an iCloud backup? If YES then you can restore your iPhone from there after the repair is complete. Do you have any backups of your iPhone on your computer done previously? If YES then you can restore your iPhone from that computer backup as well. If you have no backups then you will have nothing to restore from.
