Manage AirPlay settings on your Apple TV - Apple Support

If activated, you may change the password to anything you feel comfortable with.

If your AirPlay sending device (iPad Pro) is managed (MDM) (e.g. from an employer) then it may be set to only stream to other managed devices with a password.
