Does an Apple Watch (SE) cellular bought in the US work in India ?

I’m planning on getting a Apple Watch SE of gps+cellular model from USA so will the carriers in India support the it ? Or I will be only limited to use the GPS only ?

The Apple Watch uses 1 of 2 cellular radios

The Canada, U.S., Mexico, Puerto Rico radio

The rest of the world radio.

If you by the Apple Watch in the U.S. it will not have the radio used by your cellular carriers.

You'll only be able to use it as a GPS only watch.

Thanks for your reply. But I checked with Apple Support team of India and they said you can use the cellular feature even if you are purchasing from USA
