How to open/convert iPhoto Libraries transferred to new MacBook Air with MacOS 10.15.7

Assuming your libraries were created with the latest version of iPhoto, you can let Photos convert them.
Launch Photos with the option key held down. From the resulting dialog, choose your iPhoto Library. Photos will create a new library from your iPhoto Media. Your iPhoto library will not be touched.

One opened, the others had text that library needed repair selecting repair text said library could not be opened (3127)
