cannot install update

I am trying to install macOS Catalina 10.15.7update but it is not working. When I try this my computer just restarting and not installing it.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

If you are able to get your mac to start up download the standalone update from here.

https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2052?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

Once downloaded double-click to install.
