transfer physical sim from iOS 12.4 to esim

My old phone is iPhone 6 and it has IOS 12.4.8. To transfer the physical sim to eSim on iPhone 12 pro, it says my old phone needs to have IOS 14 or higher. What are my options to transferring my number and plan over to new iPhone 12?

You can insert the physical sim card from the iPhone 6 into the iPhone 12 directly you don't need to use the eSIM.

If you really want to use the eSim, then you need to either use their App, a QR code or contact your carrier directly and have them set it up if they support the eSim.
