I usually communicate with my parents with FaceTime . They have and old IPad 2 but it was ok and easy for video calls. However , it doesn’t work since some weeks ago. Anybody know what’s the problem?

The iPad 2 is an antique and does not have the needed components to run today's apps. It probably cannot handle the latest versions of FaceTime.
i have this issue also, on two separate ipad2's in different parts of the country. only happened ~two weeks ago. Any technical reason why it would suddenly stop working?
