Apps won’t open in Apple TV

Please just try a Restart first.

In settings- system - Restart (not Reset)

Or you can unplug the unit for a minute or so.

Reset is restoring it back to factory settings - you will need to set everything up again from scratch

If your model has the App Store (HD and 4K models) and this is limited to just a few apps you can try deleting and reinstalling those apps

Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

Try to basic troubleshooting:

• Reset the device from settings.
• Restore the entire software.
