catalina 10.15.7 is not updating in macbook pro
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15
System preferences -> software update -> update (when i clicked on update button, it's asking restart the mac i clicked on restart button but nothing happens. it's starting normally no OS update) my mac current OS is catalina 10.15.3, available space is 14.7GB. Help me please, i've to update my Xcode 11.5 to 12
If the screen shot provided is correct, the issue is that the drive does not have enough Empty Space. The update will require at least 20+ GB of free space before it will successfully install. See people say 40+ GB empty but I can not confirm that.

Glad that P. Phillips suggestion worked out! Yup low storage will do that, you figure the update is about 6gb, but the installer needs a bit more room to breathe, I know when that space gets too low the disk can become unusable even. All the best!

i downloaded catalina 10.15.7 but it's not installing, i clicked terms agree button after that getting like below pic. Continue button completely Disable
