iTunes library outgrowing HDD

All of the music that I already have on the HDD, I would like to keep on the HDD - and I would like to begin putting any NEWLY ADDED files from here on out onto a new SSD that I just installed. How do I keep the current files where they are right now, and start adding anything from now forward onto the SSD, without breaking my library? I currently have iTunes set to "Copy to iTunes Media Folder" when adding new files, and it is set to "Keep iTunes Media folder organized".

See Make a split library portable - Apple Community. I would really recommend keeping the entire library on a drive big enough to hold it all, and keeping a backup.
