So I recently got the Apple Watch series 6 44mm and I’ve used it all day. I had noticed that the watch screen doesn’t shut down.. I tried looking it up on google i changed some stuff on the settings and still nothing?

If you mean the display being visible at all times and not blanking, the always-on feature was first available with Series 5 and has carried through to Series 6. Apple calls this the Always-on Retina Display.
