My apple watch app, less than one week old, is crashing.
I have:
restarted apple watch
restarted iphone
Software is up to date
unable to delete app. Not an option
have removed to app library
cannot open from App Library
have tried apple support but it assumes these steps fix it so am in a loop
So cannot find a solution written.
Help!

Apple has suggested that to currently solve this issue you must back up the watch and the phone. Then erase both the watch and the phone. Restore them from the back up that you made and repair them. This has solved the issue for others.

Did not solve it for me. iPhone 11Pro iOS 14.1, Watch 6 OS 7.0.2. iCloud - the watch is paired with the iPhone. Backup & Restore of iPhone (iCloud) did not solve the issue. Can you describe the necessary steps in more detail?

Partly correct in this case. Unpaired watch, restored phone to most recent backup, it updated as part of restore. Didn’t actually have to erase it.
