I would like to upgrade to apple watch 6 but my phone is iPhone X with iOS 13.7. The information says is only compatible with iOS 14. Is mine compatible?

You should be able to update your iPhone X to the latest iOS then you can pair your new watch or update a current watch to Watch OS 7. I hope this answers your question.
