Editing Pages

In recent weeks I have experienced problems in Pages when using an external keyboard on an iPad. I do not have the same problem using the iPad keyboard.

The problem occurs when I edit an existing document by adding something into it. As soon as I hit the space bar, the document is moved back into the original Pages folder.
