Update difficulty

My phone did the new update and is now requesting a passcode. There is not a passcode on this phone. What next?

If you cannot get into the phone because the phone is insisting on a passcode, you will have to erase it using iTunes on a computer, or using the Finder on a Mac that is running Catalina.

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
