iMessage icon has disappeared
The iMessage icon on my ipad has suddenly disappeared.

Perhaps you have moved the App icon to a different Home Screen or folder? Have you tried using the iPad Search feature to locate the App?
From any Home Screen, simply swipe downwards on any empty area of the screen (with the exception of the extreme edges or corners) to expose the Search dialogue. Enter “Messages” in the Search field.
