Apple Watch Dying Fast

Ever since updating my Apple Watch series 4 to the new software it dies SO quickly. I’ve never had any issues with my watch before and it could always last me through the day without dying. Now, I can’t even get half way through my day without needing a charge. This change happened the min I updated the software on it. How can I get my old battery life back?

After installing a watchOS update, battery may be shorter while new background operations occur. It should resolve itself within 2-3 days. If not, you can try restarting your Apple Watch or re-pairing it to your iPhone.
