If I charge a MacBook with a 60w adapter will it ruin the battery or not?

I bought an 60w wall adapter, can I charge with it or it will ruin the battery?

No, you can safely use a charger with a higher wattage than the one provided with your Mac, although it won't charge faster or perform differently.
