How to synchronize any folder in iCloud

Hello.

In the pictures folder of my Mac I have a "Scansioni" subfolder, I would like to synchronize this folder with iCloud in order to have a backup copy but I don't know how to synchronize folders other than those established by default by iCloud. So the question is: with iCloud is it possible to synchronize a folder without necessarily moving it to the "iCloud Drive" folder?

Thank you

Best regards

You will need to move the "Scansioni" folder into iCloud Drive. After you move the folder, you can drag the folder after opening it in iCloud Drive, into your sidebar, so it doesn't have to be hidden. Here's a screenshot of my sidebar with a "My Folder" folder.
