Can I pair Apple Watch 3 with family share IOS14
iPhone XR, iOS 14
It looks like it has to be a series 4 or newer with a cellular connection. Not sure why the Series 3 with cellular isn’t supported.

I spoke to Apple and they said Series 3 would work.
Any thoughts

If they said it would work than I would go ahead and try it. I thought for sure that it had to be a series 4 or newer
Yep, says so right in the article you posted along with the fact that the phone has to be an SE or newer running iOS 14.
As soon as I get the watch which might be a couple weeks. I will update how things worked out.
