Apple Watch Series 3 with iOS 12.4
- I’m planning to buy an Apple Watch and I’d like to buy the Series 3 watch (not cellular). Now I have an iPhone XS Max with iOS 12.4 and I don’t really want to update it (don’t ask why, I just really like this environment and UI...I just don’t want to upgrade it). Before purchasing I was reading a lot about compatibility. On the official Apple site there’s this sentence: “Apple Watch Series 3 requires an iPhone 6s or later with iOS 14 or later.”
- Is that true? I mean if I buy a new Apple Watch, I won’t be able to use till update my phone? There’s a lot of information about it’s compatible with iOS 12 as well. Now I’m totally lost. Can you help me to make it clear?
